DO YOU DELIVER?

Free delivery or meet at a agreed upon location. (Depends on location) with purchase of a bulk order (quarters, halves and wholes)
Free delivery 1-30 miles with minimum $50.00 purchase. $5.00 charge if minimum is not met.

WHAT ARE YOUR ANIMALS FED?
Our animals are fed grassy hay, pasture and grain. We do not feed or inject any hormones or antibiotics for growth promotion.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIVE WEIGHT, HANGING WEIGHT AND TAKE HOME WEIGHT?
Live Weight is the weight of the animal while alive.
Hanging Weight is the weight of the animal's carcass once the hide and organs are removed. This is about 55% of the live weight.
Take-Home Weight is the weight of the actual weight after the carcass is completely processed (trimmed and deboned etc.) This is between 50-60% of the hanging weight.

Live Weight:
1,100 lbs.
Hanging Weight:
1,100 lbs. * 0.55 = 605 lbs.
Take-Home Weight:
605 lbs. * 0.50 = 302.5 lbs.
605 lbs. * 0.60 = 363 lbs.

WHAT KIND OF "COWS" DO YOU HAVE?
We raise Holstein and Holstein beef cross steers. They are primarily sourced from one local farm.

HOW MUCH MEAT IS IN A QUARTER?
A quarter is on average 175Â lbs hanging weight. This includes a variety of steaks, roasts, ground beef and specialty items, all customized by you! Your take home weight is 50-60% of the hanging weight. This depends on the cuts you select (bone-in, bone-out, etc.) A quarter takes up approximately 5 cubic feet of freezer space.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
To buy by the pound or specific cut:
Add specific cuts and quantities to your online cart, copy the page and send us an email, text or call with the order details and we will secure a pick up / delivery appointment.
To buy by the quarter, half or whole:
We require a down payment of $300.00 per quarter to secure your portion. We will send you an order form, please complete and return the order form one week prior to the processing date. We will work with the butcher to bring in the animal and submit your order form. Once the meat is fully processed, roughly two weeks later, we can meet up for delivery or we can deliver it directly to your home (depending on your location).
HOW DO I PAY?
We accept cash, card, Venmo, Cashapp or check. You only have to worry about paying us. We will submit the payment to the butcher and give you an itemized invoice with your meat and processing costs. The down payment is non-refundable if the choice is made to no longer purchase the quarter, half or whole.
Our by the pound purchases are weighed with our certified scale located on site.
Payments made by using Venmo or card will be subject to a 3% charge.
WHY DO YOU CHARGE ON HANGING WEIGHT?
We charge by the hanging weight because you are purchasing a portion of the live animal to have customized the way you would like. This is customized by the order form that is filled out and is given to the butcher.
WHAT IS THE PROCESSING COST?
The processing cost is the cost of the butcher of the animal, wrapping choice (paper or vacuum sealed), any specialized cuts/processing (tenderizing, stew meat, meat sticks, patties, etc.) This will be itemized for you on your receipt.
